We spend 30-45 minutes with you to ensure that you are receiving a thorough and comprehensive check of your mouth and to make sure you are doing all the right things for when you are not here! It is very important not to miss your routine appointments to maintain a happy and healthy smile….
Hygiene Care/Prevention
Possibly one of the most important treatments! We all know prevention is better than cure and that is why this is at the core of all our treatments. Oral hygiene instruction and regular maintenance are just a few ways we can help you. Keeping your teeth free from plaque not only keeps them looking great but it keeps your gums, teeth and heart healthy. If missed, this can lead to bad breath and more importantly, unhappy gums!
Fillings
You know what happens when you have too much of a good thing – a filling (if your lucky). We utilise the latest materials and techniques to restore your teeth as conservatively and beautifully as possible.
Crowns/Inlays
If your tooth is a bit worse for wear, then a filling may be wishful thinking. Cracked and heavily restored teeth can be transformed back to strength and function with this procedure. We have full ceramic restorations so no more unsightly black lines around the tooth.
Root Canal Treatment
We use the latest equipment to allow this procedure to be pain free and effective and for you to keep your tooth. From time to time, we do refer to a specialist if we feel the tooth needs more advanced attention.

Sadly, our teeth can take quite the battering with our modern lives and so just like us they can get a bit worn out. Nervous Patients/Sedation
For some patients, even the thought of telephoning the dental receptionist ignites a fear so strong that they consistently put it off. We have helped some of the most nervous patients to overcome their fears to the point that they no longer need the sedation.
We provide sedation in the form of intravenous (I.V.) sedation and The Buckley Practice was one of the first dental practices in the U.K. to offer this treatment. We have 3 dentists in-house that can provide our patients with this type of sedation.
So for those of you whose anxiety is more serious and impacts upon your ability to receive dental care, then you can take advantage of our sedation clinic.
Our practice facilities are designed to create as relaxing an environment as possible and our team make every effort to try to reduce any anxiety as much as possible.
We have regular coffee mornings where patients pop by and just have a good catch up- just to get used to the environment- this too also helps overcome the fear- simply with familiarity.
Facial Treatment
The facial lines and creases typically seen around the forehead, nose and eyes can often be softened, reduced or eliminated with products such as Azzalure.
As we age the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid is lost giving rise to the appearance of lines, wrinkles and folds. Injecting fillers into the skin acts to replace the hyaluronic acid that is lost with age.
